This year's area meetings were well attended.  Randum photo's have been added to the photo gallery below.  Approximatley 160 of our 200 franchised new car and truck dealers attended...55 in North Mississippi and 105 during our Southern Swing...including Jackson.

The Motor Vehicle Commission's new Executive Director Chuck Nelms attended all 8 meetings for the express purpose of meeting dealers statewide and giving them a chance to meet face to face with him.  He explained that the Commission Law was Mississippi's "state law" dealing with manufacturer/dealers obligations and that it contained many rights and protections  to assist dealers. 

Chuck also pointed out that the Commission Law takes precedent over manufacturer's franchise agreements that dealers have signed.
